The Perfect Martini!

Here at b-u everyday, we search the internet and test out all sorts of recipes so we can share the best with you! One of our favorite items to test is COCKTAILS! ... I know.... it is a difficult job... but someone has to do it!

Having said that.... we have found the perfect martini! Thanks to Mr. Stanley Tucci, we wanted to share this with you! So read on, test it out, share with your friends and enjoy!

Stanley Tucci's Instagram account offered some comfort during the early COVID-19 pandemic. And his martini recipe is one of our favs!

With his former bartending experience, he provided much-needed recipes for classic alcoholic beverages like the negroni, margarita, and martini. The latter is especially noteworthy! Tucci emphasizes that the martini is too important for squabbles—and that it's "here to stay."

Tucci has the perfect recipe for a classic gin or vodka martini – one that's extra-dry and stirred, not shaken. Who would have thought? James Bond's famous lines of "shaken not stirred" had me making martini's wrong this whole time!

London dry gin is the traditional choice for a martini, however, experimentation with different types of gin can also be done. For a 'murky' martini, olive brine can be added before stirring, but remember, it should not distract from the other flavors included!
